Marketing Manager

The Opportunity:

At TRC Group, we have a very unique voice and an important message. We’ve got oodles of ideas, but no time to implement them and bring them to life.

That's why we need YOU!

As our new Marketing Manager / Co-ordinator your role exists to ensure that all divisions of TRC Group live their purpose of making people enjoy the talent acquisition experience again via all channels of communication with the outside world.

Those divisions consist of:

The Recruitment Company – in Sydney the brand is mature and well known, in Dublin its new and developing.

The Services Company – a brand that needs developing for this growing part of our business.

(with more areas of growth to come soon!)

You will be both strategic in your approach, but also very operational in rolling out and implementing everything from brand campaigns, to managing our Instagram account.

Some key ownerships for the role would be around: SEO, content creation (written and video), social media management, website management, brand ownership, marketing projects and campaigns, just to name a few.

The role exists to ensure that we are able to tell the world about some of our amazing initiatives and to promote us as an employer of choice, a valuable member of the various communities we serve and as a preferred recruitment partner to our clients.

There's plenty of variety to keep you busy each day and plenty of opportunity to make the role your own. We love our brand, but we need someone to level up our exposure and to make sure we remain at the forefront of our SEO.

Currently this role is being considered as a permanent part-time role of approximately 20 hours per week. Ideally worked out at 4 hours per day. But there is flexibility in this to suit you.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Experience of marketing innovative organisations with a unique voice
  • Broad marketing experience which includes high level strategy and day to day nitty gritty (and a love of both)
  • A fun approach to creative writing – walk the line between corporate and edgy (doesn’t hurt to know a thing or 2 about puns either 😉)
  • Min 3 - 99 years marketing experience
  • Strong content AND SEO focus
  • Great social media marketing skills
  • Proven experience formulating and delivering marketing strategy
  • Experience of managing SEO on websites based in several locations

  • EDM tools
  • SEO – Including international SEO
  • Video editing
  • Youtube channel management
  • CMS system admin (we use Umbraco but not essential)
  • Marketing strategy
  • Social media management
  • Written content creation – excellent written skills (including impeccable spelling and grammar)
  • Strong Word, Powerpoint, video editing, graphical editing and other relevant software skills
  • A ‘figure it out’ mentality. This is a new role for us, so whilst we have a wish list, we only know what we know.

Nice to have:

  • Basic HTML
  • Video content creation

What's in it for you?

  • We know we’re looking for a bit of a unicorn, but we are happy to commit to some external training on any knowledge gaps for the right person.
  • Hybrid work environment – work from where you want, when you want. We are outcome based, not time based in our approach.
  • Great company culture – Flexible hours, casual dress, laptop, phone allowance, great incentives, open communication and a focus on wellbeing.

So to recap!

An amazing culture – Certified Best Place to Work 2021, more Employer of Choice Awards than any other agency.

A focus on innovation – our Video Recruitment Toolkit has won Recruitment International Award for Innovation, 2 SARAs for Innovation and 2 ABAs for Product Innovation.

You may feel you're over qualified, or under qualified, but if you check us out, explore our socials and website and fall in love with our brand - we want to hear from you. Tell us why you want to work with us. We'll listen!

TRC Group loves their people. We exist to make people 'enjoy' the talent acquisition process again and we’d love to have you join us!
