Exciting new opportunity for a Senior Java Engineer to join an established (20+ years)  successful Fintech. The company has built a SAAS product that is now ranked second in the world. The roadmap for the next 3-5 years is looking really exciting.  Innovation is the name of the game for this company. You will work with the very latest technologies and contribute with suggestions of emerging tech.  This role offers the chance to work for a family friendly company with a lovely culture. WFH or Remote working option available. 

Essential Skills 

  • FSDLC experience with Java 
  • Solid experience with Spring Boot and Spring 
  • Design and development of REST web services 
  • Experience working in an AWS environment 
  • NoSQL DB experience (Elasticsearch, MongoDB)
  • A mature self starter with a collaborative mindset 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have skills

  • Microservices development and deployment (Docker, Spring Boot, Kubernetes)
  • Kubernetes experience
