Pay: $545 Daily plus Super

1) What is the team structure like? It is a small team consisting of a Director, manager, change manger, Senior program officer and an ASO all based in either Sydney or Newcastle.

2) How many on the team and who will this role report into? This employee/s will report directly to the Change Manager and Manager

3) What are the working arrangements and is there any WFH flexibility? 75% working from home with the ability to work from Gateshead or George St offices

4) Is there a specific day the team attend the office? Generally, no

5) Is their any possibility for extension? Yes, these roles are to assist in facilitating the implementation of the new State-wide FM contract which will be awarded in April and have some ongoing actions/requirements

 

Successful candidate will be centrally based, either at George St or Newcastle/Gateshead office. Open to candidates from both Sydney and Newcastle Region

Primary Purpose

The Contract Administrator’s will be required to support the programs needs such consultant and writing of scopes, tender documentation, procurement process flows and training packages. They will be supporting the next Facilities Maintenance Contract which will be implemented by July 1st 2023. The successful candidate will be required to administer contracts, in accordance with approved contract management plans and procedures, to achieve delivery of contractual obligations to agreed standards.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of contract management plans by sourcing documents and established contracts, as well as monitoring performance and addressing non-performance, to achieve the required outcomes.
  • Administer contracts in accordance with approved contract management plans and procedures and update contract details to maintain the integrity of contract information.
  • Interpret and explain contract requirements, and terms and conditions to stakeholders to support compliance with statutory and policy requirements and inform decision making.
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships to identify and minimise risk, and maximise the value from the contract.
  • Proactively identify and manage contract risks to meet organisational obligations and achieve the planned outcomes of the contract.
  • Development of training material and communications to stakeholders (utilising Microsoft Apps)

  • Officer required to work with our team to focus on change management actions and general contract management.
