Level 2 Helpdesk Engineer

About the role

The Helpdesk Engineer will perform routine transactional and operational IT tasks while reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager. We're looking for a self-starter that can complete tasks quickly and under pressure.

 

Responsibilities

  • Providing  2nd level support to business users to the standards and levels requires.
  • Managing a busy helpdesk with energy - prioritising tickets, managing competing priorities.
  • Managing a Windows environment  - experience with Windows 10/11Office 365, and Servers (In this role you will get the experience of working on servers and building)
  • Have experience with IT Security or a Security Mindset.
  • Events log monitoring, patch management, and system monitoring.
  • Patching & upgrade of operating systems, software & applications.
  • Security maintenance: Endpoint Protection and Device management, troubleshooting & maintenance.
