Data Engineer

Respected Finance organization seeks two Data Engineers (SQL, Python, dbt, Databricks) to join a central team working on a large analytics project that will transform customer experiences.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and play a key role in the transformation of analytics and insights delivery for a rapidly growing, digitally native business.

6-month fixed term contracts initially (base + super for the six months) – strong possibility to extend or go permanent

Flexible working

Key Experience

SQL
Python
Experience in distributed compute/file system technologies (I.e. Spark, PySpark)
Knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
Sound understanding of data modelling/warehousing techniques (entity-relationship and relational modelling, Kimball, Data Vault and multi-layered analytics architectures).

Bonus Experience

Commercial experience with Databricks is a big bonus!
