The role is to be part of the Connectivity Operations team who are continually shaping and developing how they facilitate and support the network/customer server requirements for our services.
You will need current Field work along with skills in configuring routers/switches, worked in a datacenter installing devices and patching using Copper and Fibre, have direct customer interaction and comfortable with Layer 1 troubleshooting.
What you’ll do:
- Monday to Friday role
- Rostered hours 7am, 10am and 1pm starts
- Work a hybrid role based at a datacenter 2/3 days a week
- deliver network infrastructure enabling customers to access financial products from the datacenter or at client premises.
- Configuring, installing and patching devices (Cisco, Arista, Metamako, Dell, Lenovo), updating DNS, updating monitoring.
- Plan, Build and Implement networks both on site and remotely
- Perform network maintenance
- Create and maintain technical documents
- Increase predictive monitoring
You will have experience in:
- Experience working at a Datacenter/Field experience
- You must be Citizen or PR
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Excellent customer service skills
- A service delivery background
- Mid-level knowledge Linux based operating systems
Desirable skills:
- CCNA/CCNP/CCIE
- Knowledge of Gartner top quadrant networking technologies
- Understanding of Security in Networking.
- Experience in Service Provider solutions.
- Experience with Multicast and trading platforms.
- A strong passion for Automation and repeatable processes.
