Exactly 1 week in and we are still BUZZING from our epic win at the Seek Annual Recruitment Awards night.
3 years ago we were finalists, last year we were the runners up, but this year – Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!!! We took home the gold and we can’t help but feel awfully chuffed with ourselves.
Some lucky staff went along to enjoy the fun, and a week later, here’s their reflection of what it means to them:
Fabian:
What does winning the “Most Innovative Agency of The Year” award at the SARA’s mean to you?
To me it means we are doing things that no other agency is doing, which challenges recruitment as a whole. It means we can truly help our candidates and clients by eliminating unnecessary steps and "process" from the recruitment process. It says to me that I’m a part of something better, faster and smarter: I am working on shaping the future of recruitment.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad was your hangover the day after?
1. No hangover for me :)
Lee:
What does winning the “Most Innovative Agency of The Year” award at the SARA’s mean to you?
It means we are doing things right! ‘leaders of the old, scholars of the new’ living by our company motos, challenging the norms and being all round awesome!
On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad was your hangover the day after?

Kim:
What does winning the “Most Innovative Agency of The Year” award at the SARA’s mean to you?
It means working with a bunch of sound people, challenging traditional recruitment models and having fun whilst doing it, giving us a point of difference with our clients and candidates!
On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad was your hangover the day after?
I escaped with an 8.

What does winning the “Most Innovative Agency of The Year” award at the SARA’s mean to you?
I am immensely proud that we do not stand still in this ever-changing landscape, that we will keep challenging norms. That we are passionate about our industry and bringing more value to it. That we genuinely rage against the dull and stale but above all else we live and breathe the core values that makes our company unique and exceptional.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad was your hangover the day after?

What does winning the “Most Innovative Agency of The Year” award at the SARA’s mean to you?
Winning the award means we’re being recognised out in the industry for the amazing work we’re doing to live our values; always learning, embracing technology and welcoming innovation. Revolutionising the way we represent our candidates and clients out in the market, to differentiate and make our customer experience exceptional. Challenging the norms of the recruitment industry, delivering exceptional customer service and living up to being an Employer of Choice.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad was your hangover the day after?
Hangover: a solid 9. Been better, been worse!
Jen:
What does winning the “Most Innovative Agency of The Year” award at the SARA’s mean to you?
I am so incredibly proud to be a part of an agency that is constantly challenging and re-writing the norms. We’ve been doing things differently and innovatively for years now, so to be recognised for that is a huge honor.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad was your hangover the day after?

John:
What does winning the “Most Innovative Agency of The Year” award at the SARA’s mean to you?
It means a lot because the business has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure TRC is the innovative, dynamic and forward thinking company that I work in today. TRC aren’t afraid to try new things, to push the boundaries to ensure our service is exceptional, and as a recruiter you can’t ask for much more than that hence is a massive bonus to get industry recognition.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad was your hangover the day after?
5. I tactically drank a lot of water.
Oliver:
What does winning the “Most Innovative Agency of The Year” award at the SARA’s mean to you?
I’m really happy we won. It proves that I made the right choice joining TRC. When I was looking for a new company to work for I was looking for a place that would give me the tools and products to be successful. Now that we have won “Most Innovative Agency of the Year” proves we are doing things right and differently in a competitive market.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad was your hangover the day after?
10/10!!!!
