We're partnering with a leading global consulting organisation expanding its AWS Engineering capability across several significant enterprise transformation programmes.
We're looking for a hands-on AWS Engineering Lead who can take ownership of technical solutions, guide engineers and deliver well-designed cloud platforms for enterprise clients.
You'll work across architecture, infrastructure automation, cloud-native engineering and technical delivery, while remaining actively involved in solving complex engineering challenges.
Lead the design and delivery of enterprise AWS engineering solutions.
Architect secure multi-account AWS environments, landing zones and cloud foundations.
Work with AWS Control Tower, Organizations, IAM, networking and security guardrails.
Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
Guide the development of EKS/ECS, serverless and cloud-native application platforms.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring and engineering direction.
Work directly with client stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
Take ownership of technical quality, delivery outcomes and engineering standards.
Approximately 6–10 years of relevant AWS/cloud engineering experience.
Strong production AWS architecture and hands-on engineering capability.
Proven experience with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
Understanding of AWS landing zones, networking, IAM and multi-account architecture.
Experience with Python, automation, CI/CD and cloud-native technologies.
Experience guiding engineers or leading technical delivery workstreams.
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging directly with enterprise clients.
Lead substantial AWS transformation and modernisation projects.
Work across complex enterprise environments and challenging architectures.
Combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership.
Exposure to emerging AWS AI and cloud-native technologies.
Permanent package of $128,000–$167,860 including 12% superannuation.
Location: Sydney CBD and client sites, generally three to five days onsite depending on project requirements.
Eligibility: Australian citizenship or permanent residency essential.
