I'm working with a leading organisation looking for a Database Engineer with strong Oracle GoldenGate experience to join its team in Galway. If you're looking for a new contract where you can put your GoldenGate expertise to use while working alongside an experienced, collaborative team, this could be a good fit.
You'll join the Database Platform team, working on database replication and Change Data Capture (CDC). You'll help develop and maintain the platform, working with other engineers and business teams to deliver solutions that meet their needs.
The team values collaboration, new ideas and continuous learning, giving you the opportunity to work with modern technologies and develop your skills.
Strong, hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate is essential.
Experience with database replication or Change Data Capture (CDC).
Exposure to AWS, Azure, Terraform or DevOps would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
A proactive approach, good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
€475–€525 per day.
Initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.
Hybrid working in Galway.
A collaborative team environment with a focus on technical development and continuous learning.
