SAP FICO Consultant – S/4HANA | 6-Month Contract | Brisabne or Sydney Based
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join a leading Brisbane-based organisation currently running on S/4HANA.
This is a 6-month contract role with the strong possibility of extension, offering an exciting opportunity to work on a complex and dynamic system landscape.
You’ll be working closely with the finance and IT teams to support and enhance the SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with business processes, and contributing to ongoing optimisation in the S/4HANA environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide functional expertise across SAP FICO modules in an S/4HANA environment
Collaborate with key business stakeholders to gather and document requirements
Drive configuration, testing, and implementation of FICO enhancements
Support end-users with training, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Contribute to ongoing process improvements and system optimisation
Liaise with technical teams and third-party vendors as needed
Skills and Experience
5+ years SAP FICO experience, including hands-on configuration
Proven experience working in S/4HANA (essential)
Strong understanding of financial business processes (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO)
Excellent problem-solving skills and stakeholder communication
Experience working in an end-user environment preferred
