We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and coordinate the technical cutover for a large-scale SAP implementation. This role will be pivotal in ensuring all SAP platforms, infrastructure, and data migration activities are fully prepared for a controlled and successful go-live.
The successful candidate will bring strong programme management expertise, hands-on experience in large-scale ERP cutovers, and deep understanding of data readiness and migration best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cutover Planning & Execution
- Develop, own, and continuously refine an integrated cutover plan, covering all technical and functional workstreams.
- Build detailed runbooks and ensure they are understood and adopted across the programme.
- Manage dependencies across systems, teams, and stakeholders to align activities.
- Lead cutover readiness reviews, ensuring risks and issues are identified, tracked, and mitigated.
- Act as the key decision-making point during cutover rehearsals and go-live execution.
2. Data Readiness
- Drive data readiness across all business and technical functions.
- Define and enforce data quality standards in collaboration with business data owners.
- Coordinate and monitor data cleansing, validation, and sign-off activities.
- Ensure reconciliation dashboards and reporting tools are in place to validate data accuracy pre- and post-migration.
3. Data Migration
- Oversee end-to-end data migration activities including planning, mock loads, and final data loads.
- Monitor and track defects during data migration, ensuring resolution before go-live.
- Define and track KPIs to ensure successful migration outcomes.
- Ensure dual-running and contingency considerations are embedded in the migration approach.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record of managing large-scale ERP cutover programmes, ideally within SAP environments.
- Strong knowledge of data readiness, data migration, and data quality management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience in managing high-pressure cutover scenarios and complex programme dependencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability for deliverables.
