Our client, a prominent company in the mining industry, seeks an experienced SAP EAM Functional Lead to join their team based in New South Wales.
In this key role, you will lead the implementation and enhancement of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions that support critical asset management operations. Your expertise will be vital in streamlining maintenance processes, improving asset reliability, and ensuring alignment between business needs and SAP capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Stabilisation & Support: Resolve functional issues and stabilise SAP EAM processes post-upgrade, bridging gaps between ECC6 and S/4HANA.
- Module Leadership: Lead design, configuration, and optimisation of Work Orders, PM, and PO modules.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with operations, maintenance, and procurement teams to understand issues, map processes, and implement improvements.
- Process Optimisation: Identify and implement best practices to enhance asset reliability, maintenance efficiency, and operational compliance.
- Project Lifecycle: Support activities including functional analysis, testing, deployment, and user training during stabilisation initiatives.
- Mentorship & Documentation: Guide junior consultants, prepare functional documentation, and deliver end-user training.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years SAP EAM experience, including Work Orders, PM, and PO modules.
- Hands-on experience with both ECC6 and S/4HANA environments.
- Proven ability to stabilise SAP systems after upgrades.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in leading SAP EAM functional teams or projects.
