About the Role
As an Administrative Support Officer, you will provide essential day-to-day administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth operation of the team. This is a varied role where your attention to detail and communication skills will be key to success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments
- Preparing documentation, presentations, and correspondence
- Following up on tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
- Maintaining accurate records and managing business information in line with organisational standards
- Conducting outreach to architectural firms to gauge interest in collaborating with Homes NSW and the Design Office, then arranging introductions and meetings
- Supporting the leadership team with general administrative tasks and project coordination
 
About You
You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with a range of stakeholders. You enjoy keeping things organised and take pride in delivering high-quality administrative support.
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- A Certificate in Business Administration (or equivalent qualification)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Confidence in making outbound calls and coordinating meetings with external stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office systems
- Previous experience in government or with the NSW Land and Housing Corporation / Housing portfolio is beneficial but not essential
 
MUST HAVE clear police check, Australian Permanent Residency or citizenship and reside in NSW.
