Risk Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Asset Risk Analyst to join our client on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will focus on the development of pricing strategies, management of asset risk models, and forecasting vehicle values.

As an Asset Risk Analyst, you will analyse complex market data, build financial models, and forecast residual values for a large asset portfolio. You will work closely with the Residual Value Committee and senior leaders, translating complex sales and performance data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in pricing, financial analysis, or asset risk management.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, insightful recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of residual values, depreciation, and asset lifecycle management.

Key Skills

  • Advanced Excel capability, including financial analysis and modelling.
  • Experience analysing vehicle, fleet, or asset data.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Python and/or R for forecasting models.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or VBA is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the leasing, fleet, or financial services industry.
