Programme Manager GRC

A leading enterprise organisation is embarking on a major transformation programme as they transition from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA. As part of this upgrade, they are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to take ownership of the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) workstream within the overall SAP transformation.

This role will play a key part in ensuring governance, access control, and compliance frameworks are effectively designed, implemented, and integrated into the new SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the SAP GRC workstream within a large-scale S/4HANA transformation programme.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams, as well as internal risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders, to embed governance and control processes.
  • Manage delivery partners and SAP GRC consultants working across Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management.
  • Oversee Segregation of Duties (SoD) design and authorisation strategy to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
  • Track workstream deliverables, risks, and dependencies within the wider programme structure.
  • Provide clear governance, reporting, and stakeholder management at senior level.
  • Support go-live and post-implementation activities to ensure compliance objectives are sustained.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager leading GRC, Security, or Controls workstreams (ideally within major SAP transformations (ECC6 or S/4HANA))
  • Strong knowledge of SAP GRC solutions and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience managing external vendors and multiple delivery streams.
  • Strong background working with audit, compliance, or risk teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and programme governance skills.
  • Experience in regulated or complex enterprise environments is desirable.
