Our client, a prominent player in industrial supplies, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your analytical expertise to enhance supply chain operations and contribute to business growth.
This is the ideal opportunity for a Supply Chain professional with strong Python modeling expertise ready to focus on the development and governance of critical forecasting tools.
You will develop, maintain, and govern automated forecasting and inventory optimisation models built in Python. This includes managing master data, reading complex logic, and making necessary rule adjustments.
Execute demand planning and forecasting for a portfolio of high-value platinum customers. Develop models to improve forecast accuracy and reduce stock-outs.
Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams, managing inputs for S&OP, and reviewing market intelligence.
Provide coaching and education to team members and stakeholders on the utilisation of Python and analytical output.
Python Expertise (MANDATORY): Intermediate proficiency is required. Must demonstrate experience in building predictive models and automating work.
Core Background: Strong interest or prior experience in demand planning (Supply Chain background is also acceptable).
Advanced analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, DAX, and Power BI.
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to confidently influence stakeholders
