Business Central Practice Lead

  • €110k - €120k base + 10% bonus + benefits

We are hiring a Business Central Practice Lead to take ownership of building and growing a Microsoft Business Central capability within an established Microsoft practice.

This role is suited to someone who is technically strong in Business Central, commercially aware, and comfortable working in presales as well as delivery. The successful candidate will lead the development of the practice, work closely with account managers to identify opportunities, and convert pipeline into successful projects.

An internal Business Central migration is already approved and will run for approximately six months. This project will act as a reference implementation and a learning platform while the wider Business Central strategy, customer targeting, and delivery approach are being developed.

Approval is in place to grow the team, with plans to hire both a functional consultant and a technical consultant as the practice scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the Business Central practice, including strategy, offerings, and delivery approach
  • Work with account managers to identify customer opportunities and support account planning
  • Lead presales activity including discovery, solution design, proposals, and commercial scoping
  • Convert qualified leads into live Business Central implementation and migration projects
  • Define delivery standards and oversee quality across Business Central projects
  • Lead the internal Business Central migration and use it to develop repeatable delivery methods
  • Contribute to hiring, mentoring, and developing Business Central consultants

Experience and Skills Required

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Experience leading or significantly contributing to a Business Central or ERP practice
  • Solid background in finance system implementations or migrations
  • Comfortable operating in presales and owning commercials and proposals
  • Good understanding of business process mapping and solution design
  • Experience working with Power Platform is desirable
  • A modern, pragmatic approach to technology, with the ability to challenge legacy ways of working
