Our client is seeking a Data focused Technical Business Analyst to join their team on an enterprise wide project on a 12 month day rate contract. The role is a hybrid position with 3 days on site in Sydney's Northern Suburbs.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for gathering and interpreting business requirements, translating them into technical Data specifications, and facilitating communication between stakeholders and IT developers.
Key responsibilities include:
Experience:
Proven experience in business analysis within data, analytics, or AI-focused initiatives
Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, structured technical requirements
Familiarity with data platforms, analytics tools, APIs, and cloud environments; Azure is Preferred but AWS & GCP experience is also beneficial.
Experience working within enterprise data platforms or analytics ecosystems, including understanding of data pipelines, reporting layers, and enterprise data models.
Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps & Power BI would be highly regarded
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to both technical and business audiences
Proficiency in process modelling and visual documentation tools (e.g. Visio, Miro, Lucidchart)
This role provides an excellent opportunity for a contractor to be able to secure a long term 12 month contract working on 2/3 different key Data & AI initiatives in an enterprise environment.
