Senior Project Manager (Business Central)

Location: West Dublin, 3 day/week onsite
Contract: Initial 9 months, strong likelihood of extension
Sector: Regulated Manufacturing

A large Irish organisation is continuing a multi-year ERP transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Project Manager with Microsoft Dynamics ERP delivery experience to support the next phase of the programme.

The ERP programme is already underway, with the initial phase completed late last year and the current phase approaching completion. The next stage of delivery will focus heavily on integrations between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and third-party platforms, alongside ongoing ERP capability development.

This role will work closely with an existing internal PM and programme leadership team to ensure the successful delivery of the next programme phase. The team want to add a Senior PM who has Microsoft ERP / business central delivery experience.

This is primarily a delivery-focused Project Manager role (approximately 60–70% PM leadership) combined with a strong understanding of ERP implementation environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery across key ERP workstreams including solution design, integrations, data migration, testing and deployment
  • Manage delivery plans, timelines, resources and budgets across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinate internal teams, ERP implementation partners and third-party vendors
  • Drive governance, reporting and risk management across the project
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and alignment across business, technology and operational teams
  • Manage dependencies across ERP platforms and peripheral systems
  • Ensure business readiness, testing governance and operational transition activities are well structured
  • Support programme leadership with planning, prioritisation and delivery oversight

Experience Required

  • 7+ years Project Management experience delivering complex technology programmes
  • Proven experience delivering ERP implementations, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Experience delivering projects involving ERP integrations with external platforms
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with senior business and technical leaders
  • Experience managing multi-stream delivery across business, data and technical teams
  • Strong delivery governance, risk management and reporting experience
  • Familiarity with ERP domains such as Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement or Warehousing

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&O would also be beneficial.
