Senior C# Software Engineer

Salary €75,000 - €95,000
Our client, a investment company located in Dublin's vibrant Docklands, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their development team. This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and development of innovative software solutions within a collaborative and professional environment focused on continuous improvement.
In this hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days onsite per week, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction across projects by defining component architectures that encourage reuse and maintainability. Working closely with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, you'll help translate complex requirements into high-quality software products.
Key responsibilities include leading software development following object-oriented programming principles, ensuring code quality via code reviews and automated testing, contributing to architectural decisions during ongoing transformation initiatives, and promoting modern software design patterns and CI/CD practices. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role mentoring junior engineers and interns to foster professional growth within the team.
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields, possess at least five years of object-oriented software development experience, and demonstrate proficiency in languages such as C#, Java, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C++. A strong foundation in software design patterns (e.g., SOLID principles), experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies is essential. Proven mentoring capabilities are highly valued.
