My client is a leading Financial Services organisation undertaking a significant uplift of its cloud security capabilities and are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join a specialist AWS security delivery team.
This is a hands-on contract role where you'll work within a highly technical pod responsible for designing, building and automating security solutions across a large-scale AWS environment. You'll collaborate closely with Cyber Security and Cloud Engineering teams to deliver critical security initiatives and improve the organisation's overall cloud security posture.
Strong background working with AWS Cloud Security including its native services (GuardDuty, Inspector, SecurityHub, IAM)
Proven Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise.
Hands-on experience with AWS CDK - if not, then Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience deploying infrastructure through code and automated pipelines
Strong understanding of version control, approvals and change management processes.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Good communication skills.
The role will initially be 3 months but has the potential to extend beyond given the large projected pipeline.
