We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation currently investing heavily in its Data & Analytics capability. Following continued growth and a strong pipeline of transformation initiatives, the team is expanding and looking for a Senior Data Engineer to play a key role in the evolution of its modern cloud-based data platform.
Beyond building robust, scalable data solutions, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to emerging AI and machine learning initiatives as the organisation continues to mature its data capability.
What You'll Be Doing
• Develop and optimise a modern Snowflake-based Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Build scalable data pipelines using DBT Cloud, Python and SQL
• Integrate new data sources and enhance the organisation's data platform
• Deliver trusted, business-ready datasets to support analytics and self-service reporting
• Partner with engineers, stakeholders and Data Scientists to deliver advanced analytics, machine learning and AI solutions
• Mentor team members and contribute to data engineering best practices
What We're Looking For
• Strong commercial experience with Snowflake
• Deep experience with DBT Cloud
• Strong Python development skills
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with data
Highly Regarded
• Data Vault experience
• Exposure to Azure or other cloud data platforms
• REST API integration experience
• Exposure to MLOps, Machine Learning or Data Science environments
• Experience supporting feature stores or analytical modelling workflows
