Our client, a prominent financial services organisation, is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in delivering strategic initiatives, business transformation, and operational change programs across their Home Lending and Personal Loans business.
In this critical role, you will engage directly with business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, risk, compliance, and external partners to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements while ensuring solutions are compliant, customer-focused, and aligned with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Eliciting and managing comprehensive business, operational, functional, and non-functional requirements through workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Producing high-quality artefacts such as Business Requirements Documents, User Stories, Process Maps, and Traceability Matrices.
- Analysing current and future state business processes to identify improvements that reduce risk, increase efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
- Facilitating strong stakeholder relationships across multiple business units and project teams, and acting as a liaison between technical and business audiences.
- Supporting Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid projects, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, user acceptance testing, and change readiness activities.
- Contributing to testing, implementation, governance, risk management, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and organisational standards.
Qualifications and experience:
- 7–10+ years of Business Analysis experience in Financial Services, with deep domain knowledge in Home Lending, Personal Loans, loan origination and servicing, and collections.
- Proven track record delivering medium to large scale business and technology initiatives.
- Strong skills in process mapping, business improvement, stakeholder facilitation, and communication.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and Visio.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field; relevant Business Analysis certifications are highly desirable.
