Senior Project Manager Business Systems Transformation

  • West Dublin - 4 days onsite
  • €80k - €85k base + health + pension
  • 18 Month Fixed Term Contract - high likelihood of perm conversion

An established and growing Irish technology services business is undertaking a major transformation of its core operating platform. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of the client-side delivery of a new Professional Services Automation platform across the organisation.

The programme will touch nearly every area of the business, including Service Delivery, Projects, Sales, Procurement, Finance and Collections. It will cover process design, platform configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, training, phased go-lives and the eventual retirement of several legacy systems.

The opportunity

Rather than simply tracking a vendor’s implementation plan, you will own the organisation’s side of the delivery. This includes internal resources, governance, budget control, scope management, business readiness, formal acceptance and user adoption.

You will work closely with dedicated Configuration and Integration Leads, a Data Administrator, senior functional stakeholders and the implementation partner’s project team.

The programme is expected to run for 12–18 months, with phased go-lives beginning in 2027.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the internal programme plan and align it with the implementation partner’s delivery schedule.
  • Manage dependencies across configuration, integrations, data migration, UAT, training, cutover and go-live.
  • Establish effective programme governance, including steering meetings, delivery meetings, RAID management, decision logs and executive reporting.
  • Coordinate internal resources and subject-matter experts across multiple business functions and locations.
  • Manage scope, requirements and change control, ensuring additional development is supported by clearly documented business requirements.
  • Hold external partners accountable for delivery against agreed scope, timelines, quality standards and business outcomes.
  • Govern phase-gate approvals and ensure work is formally tested and accepted before progressing into production.
  • Lead business-readiness, adoption and training governance across a multi-site workforce.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience delivering a PSA, ERP, CRM or similarly complex enterprise platform within a technology company
  • A track record of being accountable for the overall outcome, rather than operating solely in a PMO or project-support capacity.
  • Strong programme governance skills across planning, RAID, budget management, decision tracking and executive reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external vendors or implementation partners in a vendor-led delivery model.
  • Experience coordinating data migration, integrations, testing and UAT within a live operational environment.
  • Strong commercial judgement, particularly around scope control, change requests, supplier performance and budget management.
  • The ability to coordinate senior stakeholders and secure resources across several business functions.
  • Experience leading organisational change and user adoption across a multi-site business.

Direct PSA or MSP experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Strong candidates who have led comparable ERP, CRM or enterprise business systems transformations will also be considered.

APPLY IMMEDIATELY FOR CONSIDERATION. CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN IRELAND
