Principal / Senior Insights Analyst SQL

Exciting and high-profile role for an experienced Senior Analyst to join a growing Retail organization. You will report into the Head of Analytics and collaborate closely with Senior Leaders in the business.

This is a central, business facing role & requires a strong communicator that enjoys building relationships, consulting & advising.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, driven solutions focused Senior Analyst looking to make a big influence. 

 Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and consult on solutions
  • Work collaboratively with our Analysts &  Engineers to understand underlying data assets and build business centric and reusable assets to fulfil analytical needs
  • Carry out projects with a talented Analytics team to support the development of predictive analytic models and assets

 

Experience needed:

  • Ability to to consult with non-technical business stakeholders and translate ideas into clear analytics work packages
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting insights
  • Extensive experience using relational databases and analytic tools such as SQL
  • Knowledge of data-driven digital personalization and A/B testing frameworks
  • Retail or Supply Chain domain experience
  • Any experience working with categories or buying projects
