Are you a Technical Business Analyst with sharp data instincts, strong Power BI skills, and a gift for turning business problems into actionable insights?
We’re partnering with a leading sustainability-focused organisation—think waste management meets tech—as they double down on data-led transformation.
In this hybrid Sydney-based role, you’ll be the go-to bridge between data teams, systems, and business users. From leading workshops to building clean dashboards, you’ll help turn numbers into meaningful decisions that power smarter operations.
Translate complex business requirements into clear, data-driven dashboards and reports
Run workshops with stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting logic, and system enhancements
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards connected to SQL-based data sources
Collaborate across business and tech to drive automation and actionable insights
Own documentation (BRDs/FSDs), UAT, and user training support
Identify process gaps, clean up messy reporting workflows, and improve data integrity
Present insights in simple, visual formats for non-technical teams
5+ years as a Business Analyst, BI Analyst, or Technical BA in data-rich environments
Strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and working with data transformation/reporting teams
Comfortable building and presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders
Experience writing functional documentation (BRD, FSD, user stories, etc.)
Strong understanding of business processes, reporting requirements, and system dependencies
Prior experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, Snowflake (a plus)
Are a natural communicator who can translate complexity into clarity
Have a growth mindset—you’re curious, adaptable, and always improving
Are a go-getter who takes ownership and runs with it
Bring energy, enthusiasm, and rally people around smart ideas
Love turning data into value across teams
