You’ll work alongside a small but dedicated Data Team, reporting to the Data Manager, and collaborate with one other Data Engineer and a Systems Analyst.
This is a hybrid role offering the chance to contribute to both operational and strategic projects — with a strong emphasis on independence, ownership, and technical depth.
Your Responsabilities:
End-to-end development and maintenance of the data warehouse
Integrate new data sources and manage evolving data access and security
Structure and prepare data to support business reporting (you won’t build reports, but you’ll enable them)
Use a toolset that includes SSMS, Visual Studio, DevOps, DAX, and SSAS
Balance ongoing support tasks with strategic project opportunities
Get hands-on with Microsoft Business Central, as well as internal policy and claims systems
Your Experience & Education:
7+ years in data engineering
Strong SQL Server skills (SSMS, DAX, SSAS)
Demonstrated experience in on-premise data warehousing
Self-starter attitude — confident working independently in a lean team
Experience with cloud migration projects
Financial services or insurance industry exposure
Familiarity with DevOps, Visual Studio, Power BI (Nice to have)
