Registry Officer

Purpose of the Role

As a Registry Officer, you will assist in the accurate registration and processing of client documentation. You’ll be responsible for data entry, records management, and information dissemination, ensuring efficient and timely service across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register and record incoming documentation including orders, decisions, and letters in the client database.
  • Conduct initial data entry and create client records with unique identifiers.
  • File and retrieve documents accurately to support operational needs.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external bodies (e.g., NCAT) to coordinate document exchange.
  • Escalate complex matters to the Senior Registry Officer or Registrar as needed.
  • Contribute to service delivery improvements and support legislative compliance.

 

Key Challenges:

  • Balancing tenant interactions and concerns while meeting inspection program requirements.
  • Managing potential conflicts when non-compliance is identified, maintaining professionalism.
  • Ensuring inspections are completed to program while maintaining proper documentation and office work balance.
  • Managing budgets and asset maintenance requirements when developing the Program of Works.
  • Taking into account available information, contractor capacity, and other program implications when sequencing work.

 

About You

  • Proven experience in administration, data entry or registry services in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise across teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under direction while using discretion for day-to-day tasks.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar applications.
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination status (must be able to provide proof).

 

MUST HAVE clear police check, Australian Permanent Residency or citizenship and reside in NSW.
