Facilities Manager

Government Organisation is seeking an experienced Manager – Facilities to oversee premises, fleet, and asset management for a high-profile government agency. In this role, you will manage facilities and contracts, provide expert advice to senior leadership, and ensure resources are used effectively to support critical community outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage premises, fleet, assets, leases, and contracts to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Oversee procurement and contract management, ensuring KPIs and service delivery standards are met
  • Provide high-level advice and analysis on property, leasing, and asset management matters
  • Represent the organisation in negotiations, committees, and stakeholder consultations
  • Lead and deliver projects/programs to drive improved facilities and service delivery outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues and identifying opportunities for improvement

About You:

  • Strong background in facilities, property, fleet, or asset management
  • Skilled in procurement, contract negotiation, and compliance
  • Confident working with senior executives, government, and external vendors
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant industry experience
