We’re seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Java to join a fast-growing technology consultancy team working on large-scale transformation projects for high-profile clients across multiple industries.

The Role
- Develop high-level architecture and design for complex systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, promoting best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimisation.
- Design and oversee the integration of Java-based applications and other technologies.
- Work closely with clients, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that best meet client needs.
- Produce detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and design guidelines.
- Contribute to strategic planning and help shape the direction of technology solutions across projects.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex Java-based solutions.
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns and software design principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and middleware technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are advantageous.
- Consultancy or client-facing experience is highly desirable.
- Additional experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, .NET) is a plus.
