We are seeking an experienced Manager – Recovery to lead and inspire a best-practice recovery-at-work function across multiple operational and corporate areas. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver RTW strategies that make a tangible difference to staff wellbeing and organisational performance.
INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU"LL DO:
- Lead, develop, and support a team of recovery professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Oversee RTW programs, policies, and procedures to deliver measurable improvements in outcomes.
- Monitor performance, provide strategic advice, and generate reports for management and governance committees.
- Manage relationships with insurers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective claims management and outcomes.
- Promote a safe, harmonious workplace through proactive management of staff performance, complaint resolution, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Stay ahead of industry best practice, legislative requirements, and emerging trends in injury management and rehabilitation.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Tertiary qualifications (preferably Allied Health) or significant experience in injury management and rehabilitation.
- Proven experience leading RTW and rehabilitation teams in large, complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practice RTW strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in developing KPIs, reporting, and driving measurable performance improvements.
- Ability to manage a psychological claims portfolio and lead sensitive workplace investigations where required.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally and metro as required.
MUST HAVE clear police check, Australian Permanent Residency or citizenship and reside in NSW.
