Are you an IT leader who loves working closely with the business — understanding their challenges, simplifying technology, and helping teams do their best work?
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, consumer-focused retail brand that has already made big strides in modernising its technology and is now looking for a Head of IT to drive the next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

Over the past few years the company has modernised its core systems — upgrading ERP, rolling out new POS, improving eCommerce, and strengthening integrations and reporting. They’re now shifting focus toward making IT an enabler: strengthening partnerships with commercial teams, improving BI and reporting, and simplifying systems so the business can move faster.

They’re looking for a Head of IT who is commercial, curious, and collaborative — someone who can build strong relationships across buying, ecommerce, marketing, and operations, while shaping a clear, practical IT roadmap.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with senior and commercial teams to understand their needs and turn them into actionable IT solutions.
  • Own the IT roadmap and ensure it aligns with business goals.
  • Manage outsourced partners and ensure value, performance, and alignment.
  • Oversee key systems including ERP, POS, BI, ecommerce, integrations, and data platforms.
  • Lead and support strategic projects such as Power BI and Microsoft Fabric adoption.
  • Begin building internal capability (e.g., IT Manager, BI/Integrations Manager).
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in IT leadership within retail, FMCG, hospitality, or another consumer-facing environment.
  • Breadth across infrastructure, systems, ecommerce, BI/reporting, and vendor management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills — comfortable working with non-technical teams and understanding commercial priorities.
  • A track record of delivering technology change and improving how the business uses data.
  • A proactive, relationship-driven, “make it happen” mindset.

The Impact

This is a broad, influential role where you’ll have genuine ownership — shaping how technology supports growth, improving business insight, and becoming a key partner to teams across the organisation.

If you’re an IT leader who enjoys being close to the business and wants to make a visible impact in a dynamic retail environment, we’d love to speak with you.
