As part of continued growth, they are seeking a mid–senior level Business Analyst (loan origination), to work on a core transformation project for a banking client
In this role you will:
Act as the subject matter expert in loan origination across end-to-end lending processes (from application intake through to credit decisioning, compliance, document generation and settlement).
Work closely with key stakeholders — business owners, operations, risk & compliance, product and technology teams — to clarify needs, define requirements and shape practical outcomes.
Lead and facilitate workshops, translate business needs into high-quality artefacts (user stories, process maps, business requirements documentation), and support solution design.
Engage directly with delivery teams to ensure requirements are implemented with quality and fidelity to business expectations.
Provide hands-on problem solving and trusted domain expertise throughout the delivery lifecycle.
To be successful in this role you will have:
3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst — ideally with a strong focus on lending or loan origination.
Understanding of the Australian banking sector, including regulatory and operational requirements.
Demonstrated experience working in hands-on delivery environments (not a purely managerial or governance role).
Ability to influence across stakeholders and effectively translate business problems into tangible, scalable solutions.
Excellent documentation, communication and analytical skills.
Based in Sydney with full work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen only – no visa sponsorship available).
