Web Content & UX Specialist Contract

Our Client is seeking a talented Web Content & UX Specialist to support the migration and refinement of website content from an existing platform to a new CMS. This will be a short term 2 month contract piece that can be completed fully remotely. 

This role is ideal for someone who understands how content, structure, and user experience together, without being a developer and who can confidently work across modern CMS platforms and web standards.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to review existing pages, rewrite or refactor content where needed, ensure accessibility compliance, and help shape a clean, intuitive user experience on the new site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate, update, and restructure content from the legacy website into the new CMS
  • Review existing pages and recommend improvements to layout, structure, and clarity
  • Apply UX principles to improve navigation, content flow, and user journeys
  • Ensure all content meets WCAG accessibility guidelines
  • Work within CMS platforms such as Drupal, Silverstripe, WordPress, or similar
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and functionality
  • Maintain metadata, tagging, and SEO‑friendly content structures
  • Identify content gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement during migration
