Location: Brisbane CBD (Hybrid – 2 days per week in-office) Term: 12-month initial contract + 5-month extension (17 months total) Rate: Competitive Day Rate
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the Source-to-Pay (S2P) and SAP Fieldglass streams for a major Modern ERP Transformation Program. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the end-to-end design, build, and deployment of S2P processes using the SAP Activate Methodology.
The successful candidate will manage a matrixed team of technical analysts and third-party providers, ensuring seamless integration with Finance and HCM modules.
Stream Leadership: Deliver all technical aspects of the S2P and Fieldglass workstreams within the agreed governance framework.
Project Planning: Develop and maintain the delivery schedule, monitoring progress and initiating corrective actions where required.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Finance, HCM, and Data Migration Project Managers to ensure asset data and functional delivery align with broader program objectives.
Technical Oversight: Manage technical change variations, testing cycles, data migration, and cutover processes.
Vendor Management: Oversee third-party supplier delivery and maintain active contractual/commercial relationships.
Reporting: Provide weekly status reports, manage risks/issues, and track interdependencies across the program.
Experience: 15+ years of technical Project Management experience with a focus on large-scale SAP S2P implementations.
Domain Expertise: Proven track record in SAP Fieldglass and S2P migrations, covering strategic sourcing, contract management, AP, and spend analytics.
Methodology: Expert-level knowledge of SAP Activate, ASAP, or SDLC delivery methodologies.
Data Migration: Extensive experience managing complex data transformations and integrations for large enterprise migrations.
Technical Depth: Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams across software development, process engineering, and solution design.
Education: Degree or certification in Computer Science, Accountancy, Project Management, or Business Technology.
Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical executive stakeholders.
Emotional Intelligence: Skilled at navigating complex, high-stakes environments and driving consensus among diverse groups.
Organisation: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines within a high-pressure program.
Problem Solving: Strong decision-making skills regarding risk mitigation and contingency planning during go-live phases.
Experience delivering transformation programs within the Public Sector (Local, State, or Federal).
Experience with SAP Signavio (BPMN).
