Our client, a financial company based in the heart of Dublin, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days in the Dublin office weekly, in return it will place you at the heart of transformative software initiatives across the wider group.
You will join a team, and a company, that values a technology agnostic approach to problem solving. With the flexibility to chose the best solution to solve a project, enhancing quality of projects and ensuring solutions are scalable and seamless.
In this critical role, you will take the lead in developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using object-oriented programming principles. You'll have your voice heard in the design, definition and sustaining a software architecture that encourages reusable, scalable solutions across multiple projects.
Collaboration is key in this role: working closely with team members and stakeholders, you'll help refine software requirements and ensure coding standards through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices. Your expertise will be vital in troubleshooting complex software issues as they emerge.
Transformation is at the heart of this business and so to this role will lead the charge of migration and modernisation for technologies used by the end client on a daily basis.
