Our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced ERP Functional Lead specialising in Materials Management to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and optimize ERP functionalities that support material planning, procurement, and inventory management within a complex operational environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Gather and shape business requirements with stakeholders across multiple regions
- Convert requirements into functional designs and deliverable SAP solutions
- Configure and enhance SAP S/4HANA MM processes, ensuring cross-module alignment
- Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements across the ERP landscape
- Create clear functional specs and partner with development teams on delivery
- Oversee testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and support release cycles
- Contribute to data migration and cutover planning for project rollouts
- Provide user training, documentation, and post-go-live support
- Act as a go-to expert for MM and resolve escalated system issues
Your Experience
- 6–8 years’ SAP experience, with strong exposure to S/4HANA MM
- Proven track record in configuration and functional solution design
- Strong understanding of data structures supporting MM processes
- SAP MM certification desirable; SAP EWM exposure a plus
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Confident communicator with both technical and business audiences
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment
- Detail-focused while maintaining a strong commercial perspective
