Our client, a leading player in the finance technology sector, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of sophisticated technology solutions that support global financial services.
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be a key player in designing, building, and maintaining complex applications across the full technology stack. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver scalable and robust software solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development, a deep understanding of software engineering best practices, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. You should be comfortable working in an agile environment and capable of mentoring junior team members.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human–Computer Interaction, Design, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in frontend engineering, UI engineering, or product-focused web application development
- Proven track record delivering scalable, high-quality user interfaces in complex enterprise environments
Core Frontend Engineering Experience
- Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as React and/or Angular
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, including Sass and CSS-in-JS approaches
- Extensive experience building responsive, performant, and accessible web applications across modern browsers
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, component design, and application scalability
UI/UX Engineering & Design Systems
- Demonstrated experience implementing and evolving enterprise-grade design systems and reusable component libraries
- Strong background translating UX concepts and product requirements into intuitive, polished user experiences
- Solid understanding of interaction design, usability principles, and modern UI patterns
- Experience collaborating with designers using tools such as Figma, Storybook, or similar design/development platforms
Accessibility, Quality & Testing
- Practical experience applying WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices
- Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design techniques, and frontend performance optimization
- Experience implementing automated frontend testing strategies using tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
Engineering Excellence
- Experience working within modern CI/CD environments and frontend build ecosystems including Webpack, Vite, or similar tooling
- Strong proficiency with Git-based development workflows and collaborative engineering practices
- Familiarity with modern development productivity tools, including AI-assisted coding solutions such as GitHub Copilot
Collaboration & Delivery
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and distributed teams
- Experience operating within Agile delivery models and iterative product development environments
- Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries is highly desirable
