A leading international financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their infrastructure team in Dublin during a major period of transformation and investment.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of a complex enterprise network environment while playing a key part in strategic initiatives including Zero Trust, cloud connectivity, network modernisation, resiliency improvements and a large-scale data centre migration.
The position combines architecture, security, operations and technical leadership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on engineering and influencing broader network strategy.
The Opportunity
You’ll act as the senior technical lead across the network estate, working closely with internal leadership and managing relationships with external engineering partners across multiple regions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and improving secure, resilient enterprise network environments
- Leading network transformation and infrastructure projects
- Acting as an escalation SME for complex network issues
- Driving network security and Zero Trust initiatives
- Supporting cloud networking across Azure and AWS
- Influencing long-term network architecture and strategy
- Coordinating third-party providers and offshore engineering teams
What They’re Looking For
Strong experience across:
- Enterprise WAN/LAN environments
- Network Security & Check Point Firewalls
- Cisco Networking, Cisco ISE & Wireless technologies
- Network Architecture & Design
- Network resiliency and performance optimisation
- L3/L4 support and troubleshooting
- Vendor and stakeholder management
Experience with:
- Azure and/or AWS networking
- SASE / Zero Trust architectures
- SD-WAN or modern software-defined networking
- Leading technical projects and change delivery
