Scrum Master

Our client, a leading player in the financial services sector based in North Sydney, is looking to add a skilled Scrum Master to their team for a 6 month contract to cover a maternity leave.  This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation committed to delivering quality solutions through effective Agile methodologies.

As the Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating all Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and supporting your team to achieve their objectives. Your expertise in Scrum practices will ensure projects are delivered on time and meet stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Owners and development teams to groom backlogs and clarify requirements.
  • Identifying and addressing process inefficiencies to optimise team productivity.
  • Serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment.

Essential Experience 

  • 3-5 years working as a scrum master 
  • Experience working in both Kanban and Scrum environments 
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise
  • Ability to jump into the role with minimal down time
