We're working with a leading organisation in the insurance sector to hire a Data Scientist for an established Analytics team. This is an opportunity to work on innovative GenAI and machine learning projects, building AI-driven solutions that support claims and fraud analytics. The role is based in Dublin with a hybrid model of three days per week in the office.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning solutions using NLP, computer vision and image processing.
- Build and enhance GenAI applications, including RAG-based solutions.
- Design, maintain and improve data science and machine learning pipelines.
- Analyse large datasets to generate actionable business insights.
- Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Your Experience
- 3+ years' experience in a Data Scientist or Machine Learning role.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong Python and deep learning experience.
- Commercial experience with GenAI and RAG.
- Solid understanding of the machine learning lifecycle and data science best practices.
- Experience working with Azure, MLOps, OCR, APIs or unstructured data is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
