Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking for a hands-on Gen AI Engineer to join their AI engineering team on a 12 month contract.
You’ll be responsible for building and deploying production-ready AI solutions, working across LLMs, RAG, Python, APIs, data and AWS.
Key areas include:
- Developing LLM and Gen AI applications, including RAG solutions.
- Prompt engineering, fine-tuning and model optimisation.
- Building Python-based APIs using FastAPI, Flask or similar.
- Deploying AI/ML solutions across AWS, including SageMaker, EKS and EC2.
- Developing data pipelines and working with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Airflow and SQL.
- Supporting infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
- Working with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar.
- Collaborating with engineering, data and product teams to deliver AI solutions into production.
We're looking for:
- 3+ years' experience across AI/ML or software engineering.
- Strong Python and API development skills.
- Hands-on Gen AI / LLM experience.
- Experience deploying solutions in AWS.
- Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with Java, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch or Solr would be advantageous.
Candidates must hold an Irish, UK or EU passport, or a valid Stamp 4 visa with the right to work in Ireland.
