We are exclusively partnering with an established, successful Irish business to appoint a new Head of IT.
This is an opportunity for a technology leader who wants genuine ownership. You’ll lead an experienced IT team, take responsibility for a broad technology environment and help move IT from a predominantly reactive function towards a more proactive, commercially focused business partner.
The fundamentals matter – infrastructure, cyber, resilience, suppliers, contracts and budget – but the bigger opportunity is around data, automation, AI and getting greater value from the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure and Power Platform. The role will also support future acquisitions from due diligence through to technology integration.
We’re deliberately open-minded on background. You may already be a Head of IT, or you could be a strong number two ready to take ownership of an entire IT function for the first time.
You’ll bring:
ERP experience is important, but SAP specifically is not essential. Experience of M&A/integration, AI, data or a private equity-backed environment would be advantageous.
This is a business where you can make an impact quickly. You’ll have direct access to senior leadership, considerable autonomy and the opportunity to shape how technology supports the organisation going forward.
It could be particularly attractive to an ambitious technology leader looking for their first overall Head of IT role – someone who wants to stay close to technology while stepping into broader leadership, commercial and strategic responsibility.
