Pre-sales consultant Document Management Systems

If you are the kind of person who enjoys the buzz of the sales AND are excited about the opportunities presented by workflow systems, document management and automation software then this is a role that you need to look at.

Targeting the SME market, my client offers a solution that can help any business process within any industry. Their strengths, to date, have been within the legal, construction, accounts payable and workforce management markets but they also have impressive referenceable projects within the retail, manufacturing, fashion, health & safety and finance sectors.

Your role will be to act as a key client contact throughout the sales cycle. You will be involved from early in the sales process, assisting with requirements gathering, project scoping, running presentations and technical demo's, fielding technical and functional questions and pricing.  Once sold, you will remain as a key contact for the client to ensure that the solution is delivered to the clients requirements. Once delivered you will remain as a key contact for the client, assisting with identifying further opportunities to assist them with automating and digitising their business processes. 

On a more strategic level, you will be the only pre-sales consultant in the Sydney office (as part of a national team) and will help develop pre-sales strategy for the company, help build pre-sales collateral, develop customised and standardised presentations and work closely with the whole product team to develop solutions that the market wants.

You will bring to the role the following experience

  • Document management / workflow software and/or BPM software experience
  • Pre-sales experience including documentation, sales presentations/demos and client management (min 3 years)
  • Experience working for a vendor / consultancy
  • Experience in (and a love of) delivering solutions to the SME sector
