Customer Service and Sales Representative

  • $220 per day + Super
  • Based in Sydney CBD

  • Initial contract until end Jan with view to perm or longer term

My client is one of Australia's most exciting fintech startups. They have a range of products but their core offering is based around personal loans backed by cutting edge apps and technology. Within this role you will be responsible for answering a high volume of phone, website, chat and email queries regarding the loan products. You will process these queries, where possible close customers on choosing your products and will then negotiate with the credit department to ensure that you get the best outcome for the customer. 

You will need to bring to the role the following experience

  • The ability to start immediately
  • Min of 3 years experience within the financial services / fintech / insurance industries
  • Min of 3 years experience within a contact centre offering phone based B2C customer service and/or inbound sales
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • The ability to communicate complex information in a simple manner
  • Excellent numerical, financial and analytical skills
  • An interest in fintech and mobile technology

Any experience within a personal loan processing / sales environment is highly regarded

Although this is a short term role initially it is highly likely to develop into a long term contract role or a permanent position.  You will work as part of a rapidly growing yet still reasonably small organisation where you have direct access to the credit department (they sit behind you) and senior management.  You will have a rewarding, fast paced role that is autonomous and offers great career opportunities once the role develops into a longer term position.
