Workforce Planning Analyst

Your new role 
Working in a collaborative and high performing Workforce Planning and HR team, you will be responsible for the short and long term workforce planning for a busy and fast paced NSW Government Department in Sydney.

As the Workforce Planning Analyst you will be responsible for:

    • Provide both short term (daily/weekly) and longer term (6 monthly) forecasts with a high level of accuracy to allow effective planning to meet Grade of Service
    • Use initiative to develop innovative resource management solutions and drive their implementation through the use of effective communication and influencing techniques.
    • Track key metrics
    • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Assess the current and projected workforce availability including any overlapping in the Department
    • Hit the ground running and have outstanding relationship building
    • Govern efficiencies around moving contractors to temporary positions

What you'll need to succeed 
Ideally, you will have 5+ years of experience in workforce planning with NSW Government or another large organisation. You will be able to communicate with people at varying levels of seniority. You must have strong analytical skills, be detail orientated and able to multi task and management systems and processes. Any previous project management experience is advantageous.
