The Assistant Project Officer role is within Stakeholder Engagement Unit is essential to manage the reputational risk of the government agency (Assets).
The role works between the program and internal/external stakeholders to resolve critical, sensitive and complex matters to facilitate client outcome.
They support the delivery of responses to Ministerial, media enquiries, NSW Ombudsman office enquiries, MP Referrals (i.e. Planned Works), NCAT Matters, Staying and Home Leaving Violence and other escalated issues/matters.
• Great written communication skill is essential, assists in preparing a range of documents including the delivery of responses, briefing notes, status updates, reports and discussion papers
• Sound experience or exposure, to a variety of computer systems including but not limited Excel, near maps or similar, Adobe and MS Project skills desirable
• Knowledge of Contract Guidelines, government standards and policies together with the capacity to interpret and apply guidelines, standards and policies;
• Meeting project deadlines in line with agreed standards and milestones; and
Any applicants with previous experience working with government, local councils etc would be preferred.
