Change Analyst required for an exciting contract role within a large Government department.
Pay rate: $700 to $800 per day plus super
Contract: 12 months
Start date: ASAP
About the role:
The Analyst reports directly to the Change Manager to deliver on change, communication and training activities for projects and other initiatives. This role is responsible for supporting the change manager to ensure change is delivered within a structured change management approach to deliver and realise change outcomes.
Key focus areas include implementing change, stakeholder and communication management plans, developing training materials, facilitating workshops, stakeholder engagement, business change management and training activities, and adoption of change for projects within the Asset Maintenance Delivery Program within Corporate IT. The role will also support business change within project(s) and also assist in building change, communications and training capability and maturity within the program and the business.
o Support the Program Manager to manage and coordinate change data, documents and reports in accordance with project and policy requirements
o Implement the change management plans, processes and tools to enable change adoption and sustainability on multiple projects and initiatives
o Support the design and development, delivery and management of change, training and communication artefacts within projects
o Conduct impact analyses, identify stakeholders and approaches to manage stakeholders
o Assess change readiness and form part of the working groups to support BAU teams in readiness for transition
o Provide input, develop and document requirements to support design and delivery of training
o Support change risk activities
o Integrate change management activities into project plans
o Support business relationship owners in managing stakeholders
o Conduct and facilitate training and workshops to gather information that provides input into change management plans
o Support the building of change capability and assessment within the Program and Business Areas
o 3-5 years of experience in Organisational Change Management and Training including relevant experience on large scale projects - covering such areas as:
§ Change, Communications and Stakeholder Management
§ Business readiness
o A solid understanding of how people go through a change with proven experience in delivering behavioural change
o Experience in using a variety of change management principles, methodologies and tools
o Experience in facilitating change management approaches and tactics with different business units, specifically IT business units.
o Strong communication, listening and influencing skills
o Flexible and adaptable and willing to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
o Experience working within in Government sector, and ability to build a strong working relationships with clients and partners
o Qualifications in Change (preferred)
o Advanced MS Project skills and experience using enterprise social networks and collaboration platforms (preferred)
o Have high energy, be a “doer” that can translate ideas into plans and artefacts that are relatable (preferred)
