Experienced Change Manager required for an exciting contract role within a large Government department.

Contract: 12 months
Pay rate: $850 to $912 per day plus super 
Location: Parramatta & WFH

About the role:

As a Change Manager you will have accountability for the Change Management and Communications execution, with an initial focus on the rollout and adoption of digital projects.

Working within projects you will be required to develop and manage relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You’ll work and be supported by a central Change Team and can leverage existing strategies and leanings to support the change effort. Furthermore you’ll also be responsible for creating engaging and clear communications and identify opportunities to keep stakeholders informed, involved and ultimately adopt changed processes.

 

Key accountabilities: 

Apply best practice change management methodologies to support change activities
• Establish and maintain a strong influence with key Senior stakeholders, Change Champions and business unit leaders to drive the change, overcome objections and embed the change required to support change adoption
• Define and document the project-specific change management strategy, driving the implementation of the defined change plan
• Define the Communications Strategy and manage the execution of the Communications Plan
• Conduct business readiness, change impact assessments and user needs analysis that will inform adoption and people capability uplift
• Define and document training requirements based on skills and behaviours necessary to implement changes to inform training programs and activities.
• Facilitate transition into business as usual, providing support to sustain and embed change

 

Essential requirements: 

• Qualifications or equivalent knowledge and experience in Change Management and Communications.
• Experience delivering change management and communications in ICT related programs and/or projects.
• Sound understanding of, and experience in ICT Service Delivery and Operations.

 You will also have:

Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and consultation with an excellence understanding of the organisation
• Strong communication skills in particular writing, presenting and working within a diverse team
• Desirable to have skills in working within projects for large and complex projects and have an understanding of project cycle and roles.
• Desirable to have Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with experience in leading Government projects
