Our client is a large NSW government department located in Western Sydney They are now embarking on a large new project to replace the existing legacy recruitment application. You would working with the Project Manager, Senior Managers and different stakeholders, to determine their key policy and processes, steps and elements, including any basic technical requirements, that need to be a part of the old and new system.
This role requires an experienced business analyst who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, lead others, drive results and proactively identify and resolve problems.
This role will work closely with business stakeholders, internal developers, and the vendor through each stage of the software development lifecycle and also demonstrate both existing and new functionality to the business stakeholders.

Work flexible hours, closer to home in Western Sydney with strong chance of contract extension (Work from home for now)
Previous work experience as a Business Analyst in a similar project i.e. system replacement/HR/Recruitment/Hiring/ Onboarding software(s)
Must be able to solicit requirements from the business through interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, business analysis and task and work flow analysis.
Able to document the business requirements, processes and workflows developing both written and visual depictions of requirements and process flows.
Experience of capturing, basic systems requirements data requirements and data mapping,
Working and collaborating with subject matter experts, vendors, internal developers, and testers.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills – be able to communicate with business stakeholders, vendors, technical analysts, developers, and other cross functional staff
3 to 5 years’ experience as a Technical or Process Business Analyst
Good communication skills and excellent stakeholder management
Previous background in development and or testing
At least one full e2e project systems integration/configuration/implementation experience
Ability to interact, shortlist and select software vendors and platform providers
Previous experience in HR/Recruitment/Onboarding/Recruitment application/projects would be well regarded
Permanent Residency or Citizenship with Sydney domicile required
Degree or Diploma in IT with supporting qualifications in Business Analysis
Prior experience in a local or state government department in any sort of business analysis projects would be useful
